Event Terms and Conditions
The following Event Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between Schwelle7 GesmbH and its customers for workshops booked through the Schwelle Events platform. These terms apply exclusively in conjunction with the contract provisions outlined herein and the applicable Austrian legal regulations.
Designations and Conventions
For better readability of these terms, the following conventions apply:
The term “participant” will be used instead of “contract partner” or “buyer.” The terms “participant” or “participants” and other personal nouns will be used interchangeably. For a comprehensive gender-neutral writing style, reference is made to the current version of ÖNORM A 1080.
Offer and Contract Conclusion
Workshops offered through the Schwelle Events platform are merely facilitated. The contract is concluded between the respective organizers and the participants.
Description of Services
By booking and paying for an event, the participant confirms they have read and accepted all relevant information about the event (including organizer, content, and schedule). For questions or uncertainties, participants are encouraged to contact the organizer or Schwelle Events Ltd. directly via phone, in person, or email.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
To process bookings, personal data of participants (name, address, email, and, if applicable, other contact details) are required and processed. The organizers are committed to handling this data strictly confidentially and will not disclose it to third parties.
Event Changes
Participants are asked to provide correct contact details to be informed of any changes. It is the participants’ responsibility to check the Schwelle Events website or platform before the event to learn about potential changes.
The following rules apply in the event of changes:
Minor content changes do not justify cancellation of the booking. A change of trainer or location does not constitute grounds for cancellation. In case of a rescheduling, the participant is entitled to withdraw from the contract. If an event is canceled without substitution, the participation fee will be fully refunded. If a participant is excluded due to violations of behavior rules or house regulations, no refund will be granted.
Booking Withdrawal
Participants have the right to withdraw from their booking within 14 days without stating a reason, provided the service has not begun within this period. By attending an event within the withdrawal period, the participant waives their right of withdrawal.
Rejection and Exclusion
The organizers reserve the right to exclude participants who violate behavior rules. The transfer or resale of tickets is prohibited and will result in forfeiture of the participation fee.
Final Provisions
Austrian law applies to all bookings, with the place of jurisdiction being Vienna. Schwelle Events Ltd. assumes no liability for the content of external links. Notices of trademark violations will be addressed promptly.
